The Department of Psychology at Salesian College Siliguri Campus successfully organized the Brainbow orientation on August 20, 2024, in the Marengo Hall. The event was aimed at welcoming the first-year Core A and Core B students and providing them with an overview of the Brainbow Association.

The program commenced with an invocation by Fr. Dr. Saju Puttusery, followed by a brief introduction to the orientation by Miss Sagarika Roy, Head of the Department of Psychology. The association’s ex-animator, Miss Rubina Chettri, was felicitated by Fr. CM Paul for her contributions.

Pratishtha Acharya, a fifth-semester student, gave an introduction to the Brainbow Association, highlighting its motto, “Awareness shows the way.” Students from various semesters shared crucial information about the association, including its history, past events, aims, objectives, divisions, and current portfolios.

Sasank Bhujel, the President of the Brainbow Association, emphasized the importance of mental health as a community responsibility. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Hrishika Pradhan.
