Bachelor of Arts in Education is a four-year degree programme with the possibility of completing the fourth year with research if a particular student secures 75% CGPA in the previous exams.

After completion of the programme, a student will be able to:
KnowledgePSO1: Develop a clear idea about the subject Education, like nature, scope and aim of Education, factors, different agencies of education and Child Centric Education.
PSO2: Gather knowledge about Educational Psychology, Theories and their implication in the field of Education and Education system.
PSO3:  Develop knowledge about the detailed History of the Indian Education system.
PSO4: Develop knowledge about the detailed History of the Indian Education system.
PSO5: Internalise the basics of Sociology, relation between Sociology and Education and importance of Educational Sociology in the field of Education.
PSO6: Develop knowledge about the basics of Indian as well as Western Philosophy; develop knowledge about the importance of different schools of Philosophy in the field of Education.
PSO7: Develop the concept of Guidance and Counselling, various types of Guidance and basic data necessary for guidance.
PSO8: Develop the concept of Educational Research and Statistics and the knowledge of analysing Descriptive Measures, concept of Normal Probability Curve and its uses in Education.
SkillsPSO9: Execute the Educational Implications of the Theories of Psychology.
PSO10: Construct Instructional Designs, Scholastic and Co-Scholastic Curriculum designs.
PSO11: Exhibit the Skill of applying the knowledge of Educational Technology, ICT and E-learning.
PSO12: Advocate the importance of Guidance and Counselling.
PSO13:Develop the Skill of using computer in Education and Communication, ICT & E-learning.
PSO14: Exhibit an excellent Communication Skill, Skill for Democratic Citizenship and related Theories, Teaching Skills, Life Skill Education, Peace and Value Education.
CompetencePSO15: Demonstrate competencies required to use computers in education, communication, ICT & E-learning for implementing Instructional Techniques and different Models of Teaching.
PS16: Analyse the detailed History of Indian Education System.
PSO17: Systematise the Concepts of Adjustment, Maladjustment and the various interpretations of the Psychological Tests.
PSO18: Correlate various Qualitative and Quantitative Data for Educational Research.
PSO19: Envision a society where people from all walks of life enjoy equal and equitable rights and opportunities.
PSO20: Compute Statistical Analysis in the field of Educational Research.
PSO21: Analyse the Contemporary Trends in Education.

Eligibility for Application

Passed  Higher Secondary from any stream with minimum 55% for General candidates and minimum 50% for SC, ST candidates.

Instructions

* Scanned copies of the class 10, 11/12 marks card should be uploaded while filling up the application.

* If class 12 marks are not available at the time of applying, then marks of any test conducted during class 11 or Pre-board, can be uploaded.

* The office of admissions will verify the scorecards.

* Applications with no scorecards or vague scanned copies will be rejected and termed as Not Eligible.
