Siliguri, 3 August 2025 – A free medical health check-up camp was successfully organized at Salesian College Siliguri campus, in collaboration with the Alumni Association of Salesian College and the Lions Club of Siliguri Uchaai.

The camp offered a wide range of services, including general health check-ups, blood pressure and sugar level testing, BMI analysis, eye and dental check-ups, and medical consultations by a panel of expert doctors. The initiative received an overwhelming response with over 55 people from various backgrounds participating and availing the services.

Speaking on the occasion, a representative of the Lions Club said,

“Health is the greatest wealth. Events like these are essential to buildi a healthy and aware society.”

The Principal of Salesian College Fr. Dr. Babu Joseph SDB expressed his gratitude to the Alumni Association and Lions Club, adding that the Alumni should remain committed to organize more such socially impactful events in the future. Several alumni, social workers, and students also volunteered and participated actively in the event, making it a successful and meaningful initiative.
