Siliguri: The latest edition of Salesian Journal of Humanities & Social Sciences (Vol. XVI, No. I - May 2025) curated by Assistant Professor of History Ms Anukta Gairola explores the theme “Revisiting Partition: Historical Retrospection, Socio-Religious Impact, Geo-Political, and Media Representation.”
This edition brings together a rich tapestry of interdisciplinary perspectives, offering critical insights into one of South Asia’s most defining historical events. Contributors include historians, sociologists, theologians, and media scholars whose work interrogates the legacy of Partition and its enduring relevance in contemporary discourse.
The second release, Examination Policy & Procedures – Second Edition 2025, serves as a comprehensive guide for academic governance. Updated to reflect current pedagogical standards and regulatory frameworks, this edition provides faculty members and administrators with clear protocols for assessment, evaluation, and academic integrity. It reinforces Salesian College’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and student-centered learning.
Both publications were released on 18 September 2025 in the morning assembly in the presence of faculty members and students.
Copies of both publications are available at the college library and will soon be accessible online.
