Siliguri: To celebrate the spirit of May Day, some 30 staff members of Salesian College Siliguri (Autonomous) embarked on a refreshing picnic to the scenic hill station of Mirik, May 1, 2026.
The group enjoyed visits to popular tourist spots including the Pashupati Nepal Border, Simana Nepal View Point, and the picturesque Mirik Lake, among other attractions. The outing offered staff an opportunity to relax, bond, and appreciate the natural beauty of the region.
Fr. Bursar accompanied the team, adding to the camaraderie of the day. The bus picnic not only marked May Day but also strengthened the sense of community among the college staff, making it a memorable occasion. END
