Siliguri:  The Radio Club of Salesian College (Autonomous), Siliguri, hosted a practical sustainability session under the United Board project as part of Salesian College Green Campus Initiative, on 19 March 2026
Team Zindagi, known for its impactful environmental work, led the program, which aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical discussions on sustainability and their practical implementation.
The session featured an introduction to sustainable practices, waste segregation and cleanup methods. The interactive discussion helped students to apply the best practices within the campus.
Radio Club Founder M.Sc Psychology student Anand Kumar conducted an inter active exercise, and Vice Principal (Sciences) Fr. C. M. Paul noted that such initiatives foster environmental responsibility and actionable change.
The event drew enthusiastic participation from Radio Club members and students, marking a meaningful step toward building a greener, more sustainable campus community. END
