Siliguri:  The First-Year Core A students of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism hosted a Bollywood-themed intra-departmental quiz under the Media Association banner on 2 March 2026 at JPM Hall.
The event was inaugurated by Fr. Dr. Saju Puthussery, Vice Principal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, who led the invocation and delivered the welcome address. The quiz was conducted by Mr. Bhabya Chandra Khati, Assistant Professor and Animator of the Media Association.
Seven teams of three members each competed across five lively rounds, including direct, audio-visual, and buzzer segments. After eliminations, three Core B teams advanced to the finals, where Anuja Bharai, Bipashna Pradhan, and Vedika Chettri claimed victory.
Faculty and students in the audience added to the excitement by engaging in interactive segments between rounds. The programme concluded with certificate distribution to winners and finalists, marking a vibrant and successful academic activity. END
