Siliguri, 22 February 2026: NSS Unit II of Salesian College (Autonomous), Siliguri, in collaboration with SEFL, organized a Cleanliness Drive near Sona Petrol Pump, Vega Circle Checkpost. The programme, held from 10:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., aimed to promote cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and community awareness.
A total of 25 NSS volunteers, along with members of SEFL and DCB Bank, actively participated in cleaning the dumping ground in the area. Their coordinated efforts not only improved the surroundings but also conveyed a strong message on proper waste disposal and environmental protection to the local community.
The programme concluded with the NSS CLAP, instilling pride, teamwork, and dedication among participants. The initiative marked another meaningful step towards building a cleaner and greener Siliguri. END
