Siliguri - The prestigious Chartered Accountancy (CA) examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) started today, 5th January 2026.
Since 2010, Salesian College Autonomous Siliguri has served as an official ICAI examination centre, positioning itself as a vital academic hub for North Bengal and neighbouring regions. The move has eased the burden for candidates who previously had to travel long distances to Kolkata or Guwahati, and it underscores the college’s growing role in professional education.
The examinations, covering Foundation, Intermediate, and Final levels, will run from January 5 to 24, 2026. Each paper is generally scheduled in single sessions from 2 PM to 5 PM, conducted under strict invigilation protocols in Don Bosco Block.
Salesian College Autonomous Siliguri Assistant Professor Dr. Patrick Johnson is the coordinator of the ICAI Examinations. He is assisted by Faculty members who serve as invigilators along with the assistance of support staff. END
