Siliguri: The Human Rights Cell of Salesian College, Siliguri, organized an Inter‑Departmental Poster‑Making Competition on 18 December 2025.
Guided by the theme “Empower Women, Empower the Nation,” the event went beyond artistic display, serving as a platform to express ideas, raise awareness, and inspire change through visual storytelling.
Judges Lt. Risha Chhetri and Mr. Ravi Bhushan Singh were felicitated, while Mr. Abhishek Oscar Singh briefed participants on the rules and guidelines. Each poster carried a powerful message—whether of dignity, equality, or justice—reminding the community that art can be a compelling voice for human rights.
Ten departments from Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, and Sciences participated, each represented by two students.
The winners were: 1st Place – Political Science;  2nd Place – Sociology  and 3rd Place – BCA.
