Siliguri: NSS Unit II of Salesian College (Autonomous), Siliguri Campus organized an Old Age Home visit on 19 December 2025 to the Missionaries of Charity, Khospokhar, with the aim of spreading joy and care among the elderly residents.
A group of 25 NSS volunteers spent meaningful time with the residents, distributing warm mufflers and handmade cards, sharing food items, and celebrating the day with a cake‑cutting. Their gestures created a cheerful and festive atmosphere.
The volunteers also presented songs, carols, and dance performances, bringing smiles to the faces of the residents. Through these interactions, they gained valuable lessons in patience, hard work, and the blessings of selfless service.
The programme concluded with a reflection session where volunteers shared their experiences, followed by the traditional NSS Clap.
