Inter College Fest

Dates: 18 & 19 March 2025
Venue: Salesian College (Autonomous) Siliguri Campus

General Rules and Guidelines
1. All participants must register as a representative of their college. Therefore, each college is considered as a team. All members of a team must be from the same college. Trophies won by the participant(s) are for the college that s/he represents. An identity card issued by the Head of the Institution is a must to be furnished for these competitions. In the event that the ID card is not available, participant(s) may furnish a bona fide letter from the Head of the Institution to certify that s/he is a registered student (of the current academic year First Year, Second Year – UG/PG – or Third Year Student UG) of the College.
2. Registration Fee per person/participant is |300. For Team events also individual participants must register with above stated amount.
3. Registration fee is to be paid online in the given UPI Id in the registration form.
4. Participants can take part in a maximum of 4 events additional |350, if the programme schedule can support such simultaneous participation(s). Kindly confirm with the programme schedule from Event Managers for the same. Schedule once made will not be changed.
5. A college participating and winning in all (or most of) the events stands a chance of winning an overall trophy for the fest.
6. Entry to the fest is allowed through invitation and special passes only. Passes are not for sale.
7. All the participants must carry their college ID (or bona fide letter) with them at all times, and the participant’s badge to be worn at all times when they are in the premises of Salesian College, Siliguri.
8. Participating colleges must furnish all the details asked in the registration form.
9. Misconduct of any sort from either participants or visitors from participating colleges can lead to the disqualification of the entire college team.
10. All participants are expected to dress appropriately when inside the campus of Salesian College, Siliguri. Students are expected to be in college uniform or formal wear when participating in academic or literary events.
11. Participants are expected to take care of their belongings; the organisers shall bear no responsibility.
12. There will be a mandatory security check undertaken by NCC cadets at the entrance. Any participant or visitor who refuses to be checked will not be allowed inside campus.
13. Faculty from guest Colleges must identify as a faculty member when they arrive at the entrance, and may be required to furnish ID proof issued by College if/when asked.
14. Outside food and drinks are not allowed. Participants may bring their water bottle/tumbler.
15. Participants are requested not to carry objectionable materials or items, contraband items that can be considered as a security hazard. Only prescribed medicines are allowed to be brought inside.
16. College campus being a sacred space for learning, all kinds of intoxicants, alcohol, tobacco etc are banned from being brought inside.
17. Judges’ decisions will be final and binding for all the events.
