Siliguri, West Bengal – On August 20, 2024, the birthday of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the NSS Unit-II of Salesian College (Autonomous) Siliguri Campus celebrated Sadbhavana Diwas with a cultural event.

The event, hosted by Rajdeep Das from the Department of Geography, featured special addresses from Fr. CM Paul SDB, Vice Principal-Deanery of Sciences, and Ma’am Jyoti Gupta, NSS Coordinator. The event began with a short poem, followed by opening remarks, an invocation prayer, and the lighting of the lamp as a tribute to Rajiv Gandhi.

The cultural program included a captivating dance performance by Ankita Baroi, Karina Thakur, and Komal Sinha, as well as a heartfelt poem dedicated to friendship by Nusrat Khan. The event concluded with closing remarks from Ma’am Jyoti Gupta, followed by the NSS Anthem, the National Anthem, and the NSS Clap.
